"Generation Kill" is a miniseries based on Evan Wright's book of the same name. The series follows the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion of the United States Marine Corps during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Kasem provided the voice for Col. Stephen "Godfather" Ferrando in the series, which aired on HBO in 2008. This was one of Kasem's final acting roles before his death in 2014.
